Today's Evil Beet Gossip

If Last Night’s Saturday Night Live Didn’t Bring You Joy, You’re a Horrible Person and Maybe a Little Bit of a Serial Killer

Betty White shared Saturday Night Live hosting duties last night with everyone’s lady-packed comedy dream: Molly Shannon, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Ana Gasteyer, Maya Rudolph and Rachel Dratch. It was f*%#ing amazing, obviously.

Check out this clip of Ana and Molly reprising two of their most celebrated characters with a very special appearance by everyone’s favorite Golden Girl.

And these shots of Betty are kind of to die for, as well:

  • I love everything Betty White and those pictures are great. I don’t know why they felt they needed to photoshop the shit out of them. She’s 88, she should look it.

  • I didn’t really like the episode. My friends and I were a little concerned Betty White was going to bust a hip or something the entire time. The Manuel Ortiz skit nearly gave us a heart attack as we watched Betty White’s hips swinging all over the place while no one else seemed to really be into the dancing.

  • love betty white, but even she can’t save the crapfest that is SNL. the NPR send up was funny, but that skit is like 15 years old. they need to be a little more original.

  • Her monologue, this clip, and the film short where she turns into a homicidal speed metal rocker were pretty much the highlights. Everything else was pretty much the usually SNL bust. Maya Rudolph’s return as Whitney Houston on Weekend Update started out pretty funny, but then went on way, way, way too long.
