How did Hank blow it for the team?

    • Whit says:

Did you not see him miss that onside kick that got recovered by the Saints?

      • mal says:

I don’t think that one play decided the game, personally. Colts have come back from worse circumstances.

I have to agree with Whit. I think that onside kick was the smartest fucking play ever. It totally psyched out the Colts and gave the Saints so much momentum and confidence. It was a HUGE gamble and took enormous balls to pull it off. I started the game wanting the Colts to win but after that kick I switched to the Saints.

All this chatter goes to show that chix need to stay away from all football-related activities, except cheer leading. Just stand there and look pretty.

  2. Think Straight says:

Oh, dear. I hope that this is the worst blow that life brings to this family.

Considering the scale of things that can go wrong in life, and that she is holding her healthy two-month-old baby, who is probably being disturbed by his mother’s distress, I think she needs to be strong for her husband and child and stay calm and have a sense of perspective about life!

She should tell her husband that he did an amazing job and that he’ll have more good years in his future and celebrate the amazing year he, and they, just had.

She needs to act like an adult for her family’s sake and not break down over every disappointment. And I hope that she still has all the sex that she was planning to have after a win – it’ll be a little sexual healing for both of them.

Even the greatest of the great don’t win them all, and the Colts did exceptionally well, obviously.

    • Grace Jones says:

I completely agree with you. Well said. Life is certainly very difficult and if she’s in hysterics over losing her husband’s team losing the Super Bowl, then I don’t even want to see her react if something happens to her husband, child, or if she (God forbid) chips a nail.

      WTF, is this Dear Abby?

    • mena says:

i just read on her twitter that she wasnt crying about the game, that it was the paparatzzi bothering her and being so close to her baby!!!

      • Anonymous says:

and she’s going to cry over it? jeez, most celebrities deal with it and move on or hire bodyguards, not sob over it like a baboon.

    • xu says:

oh for f’s sake! let her cry. it’s not like she cried and wailed and flailed around in misery all night long. it’s an emotional time for some people. get off your high horse! omg the baby is distressed! no he’s not. they are not that fragile! he won’t be scarred for life bc momma cried for daddy when he lost the biggest game of his career and life!

  3. WhoDatFan says:

Why should we feel bad for her??? People in New Orleans were crying much harder than that with joy! Who dat?!?! Saints #1!

  4. Whit says:

Oh, c’mon. It’s not like anything REALLY terrible happened. She, her husband, and their baby are all safe, wealthy, and happy. He missed recovering an onside kick. It was one of many wrong plays for the Colts. It’s not the end of the world. It’s totally ok to be emotional about a game (I know I always am), but to be sobbing on and on like this is a bit extreme. This is when she should be patting him on the back, telling him he tried his best, not when he has to have her cry on his shoulder.

  5. vpea says:

All I have to say to her is – “Who Dat?”

  6. evilzoe says:

I actually read that she was upset about all the paparazzi swarming her and her infant, NOT the game. That would make more sense. What would make even more sense would to NOT bring your newborn to a game with thousands of people, especially when you are a (wannabe) celebrity and your husband is a teammate.

  7. Squeeziee says:

My heart jumped in my chest when I saw the headline and the picture – I thought something terrible had happened to the baby!
    Don’t DO that to me!

  8. Anonymous says:

I just can’t take her seriously – she’s like a corndog of stupid encased in deep fried silicone.

  9. LaurenBlair says:

It is very possible that she was over the top emotional because she only gave birth 2 months ago. Hormones are still flowing like crazy. I’m just sayin’….

  10. wpolochick says:

He may have blew the onside kick, but Peyton threw an interception, e.t.c.. This whole post sounded completely stupid to me because you’ve said yourself you know nothing about football.

  11. Sasha222 says:

I don’t know or give 3 shits about football but I think it’s cool that she has the same blanket my daughter had…..and I think I got it at Target.

Oh and isn’t she already a MAJOR football fan anyway? They take that shit seriously. Believe me I have been dealing with a man throwing things, screaming obscenities at the TV, and pacing back and forth throughout the house during games for the past 9 effing years…It’s hardcore man.

    • mena says:

yes! she is a major football fan!! so it is ENTIRELY understandable that she cries when not only the team she was rooting for didnt win, but the one where her husband is! besides it is true that she can be over emotional because she just had a baby…
personally i wanted the colts to win just because of her hahaha i loooove her!!! and it was really sad when he missed that pass (besides he only played for like 2 seconds…) and then payton mannings face was sooo sad too!!
and the fact that kim kardashian is gloating because her bf won is unberable

Sounds like Molls had her share of Meow Mix today.

A good friend of mine is married to a college football coach. You should hear the shit that people yell at her about her husband during and after a game.

How many of those paparazi a-holes were shouting nasty questions at her and how many random a-holes were yelling nasty things?

Couple that with having a baby just a couple of months ago and maybe her crying is justified.

  14. Laura says:

She just had a baby, crying happens. Just because there’s a picture of it doesn’t mean she feels sorry for herself or thinks her life sucks. It just means we can all judge and dissect it, right?

  15. Anonymous says:

Who dat crying? HA HA HA! Go Saints!

  16. melissa says:

why is a girl crying such a big deal, whether it was b/c of the game loss or the paps.
which by the way could both be very tear inducing for the any girl.

anyone psychoanalyzing this girls tears is retarded.

  17. K says:

Clearly I am amongst some very fortunate people who only cried on limited occasions. Kendra is truly a supportive wife. And she wanted their baby to be at his first Super Bowl. She could have gotten a sitter, but instead chose to keep her baby with her to share the moment. Many professional players’ wives go to every practice, game, and occassional emergency room all season long. The game means just as much to them.

I don’t know where she was sitting, but I bet not next to the beer spilling, hotdog munching sports enthusiasts. I bet the baby was just fine throughout the game.

And many of you made a great point that her hormones have probably not come down from giving birth; not to mention the little sleep she has had (anyone who’s had a baby knows the first 6 months can really suck in that department). So she was probably poised to cry anyway. But she was hounded by the paps, who were most likely saying shitty things to her. It was a long, stressful night for her. Top that off with a screaming baby. Not that I’ve seen every picture of Kendra, but I have to say I have never seen her this visibly upset.

I wanted the Colts to win because they are a great team. But I was happy for the Saints in the end due to what Katrina did. They needed something like this to put them on the map for a much happier reason. Plus, I admit, the Saints really brought it on after the second half and never let up. Pretty cool to watch.

  18. Chuck says:

There’s a LOT funny about that picture!

  19. Jason Hall says:

Hank Baskett sucks, he came here and didn’t do anything but drop passes and lose the onside. He doesnt deserve to sleep with her every night,
