Olivia Munn's Maxim Cover

“And if you have any problems with me in this spread, I have two things to say to you: 1. Just don’t look. And 2. You sound like you just need a good fuck.”

Attack of the Show host Oliva Munn in an open letter to her haters on her blog re: her Maxim cover.

I don’t really “get” Olivia Munn. I used to have to watch Attack of the Show for an old job and beside the fact that she’s obviously an attractive woman, I never really understood her appeal. I don’t find her to be particularly funny. I’m over the “I’m hot and I love dick and fart jokes” bit. I think her post showed a lot of guilt and maybe even some insecurity (who, Olivia Munn, do you think is surprised that you showed your ass in Maxim?), but the above statement kind of made me smirk. It’s true. Most of the guys reading a woman who hosts a show about video games and viral video’s blog probably do need a good fuck.

  • she’s irritating.

and purely from a publishing standpoint. that is one of the worst cover shots I’ve ever seen.

  • can anyone believe that this “attractive” girl is dating Chris Pine?

I really don’t see the appeal.

  • videos NOT video’s

apostrophe s means possessive or a contraction.

the plural is videos. plural is intended here, not something belonging to video.

just add an s, lose the apostrophe unless it’s possessive.

that point can be confusing in the case of “it,” however. “its” is possessive whereas “it’s” is the contraction for “it is.” there is no plural for “it.”

    • Yeah…actually she did mean it to be possessive. Because the person who owns the blog that these guys are reading is a “woman who hosts a show about video games and viral videos.” Theoretically it should be videos’, and I wouldn’t have pointed that out because who gives a fuck, but I feel compelled to because you were also wrong. SUPER.

      • the possessive is associated with whose blog it is, not what is on the blog. ie, it is the blog of a woman who hosts a show about video games and viral videos. it is not the video’s blog. it is the woman’s blog. the whole sentence is crap the way it is written, but i didn’t want to overwhelm the writer with criticism, rather trying to be helpful with an easy tip. very cool that in the miley post above the writer correctly wrote “80s” and not the often seen but incorrect “80’s” brava! well done!

      • the sentence rearranged to make sense: Most of the guys reading a blog of a woman who hosts a show about video games and viral videos probably do need a good fuck.

  • I REALLY wish you people would lay off with the spelling/punctuation lessons. It’s a fucking comment area on a celebrity gossip blog, professor. Good for you that you’re so adept with the English language, this is maybe not the most appropriate area to try to show it off. Sheesh!

    • not showing off. informing, gently. whatwith the death of journalism and all, the shortage of editors is becoming oh so apparent in media publications, and it is up to the public to help out and do our share. looking the other way just reinforces the errors which bastardize our language. have some respect for the language and the mastery of it. quality and presentation are important. be a good example. poor grammar and usage make some people flinch, and so does pretentious anger.

      • Whatever. You apparently missed the point I was making. Anyhoo… are you even serious? What with your own complete lack of capitalisation and proper punctuation.. I’m simply stating that no one reading these comments cares to read your “lesson” about proper usage, that’s not why people are clicking on the comments. “Gee, I hope someone caught that error and has posted a long, drawn-out correction!!!”

      • I agree with rvh! And, not trying to be possessive or anything, but you look fucking hot in your new avatar photo.

      • Get a room, people!

I can’t help but notice that the avatar you mention is scowling sternly.

        Ice Ice Baby!

      • No, I’m not angry. Much. I just don’t know why people on this site can’t seem to resist pointing out any spelling or grammatical errors… I mean, you understood what was being said, right? There’s no need to be pedantic or at least to subject everyone else to it.
And other Anon, thanks! I finally figured out how to get one.. duh. And I thought if I messed w/the colours enough, it wouldn’t be too recognisable.

  • That isn’t the most attractive shot, however, she does look pretty and healthy. That said, I’d love her muscle tone.

  • I agree with the first post, this is a HORRIBLE cover shot….my 4 year old could take a better pic of her lollipop head and stick thin body. Well, no she has a great body, but the picture has a polaroid quality to it that makes it looks CRAP. And to the asshole that can’t get over grammar, PhUCk YoU nOboDEE cayREs abOwt bAd fUckIng GrAMar. u ARR a TWAT ;)

  • I think she’s pretty, but not super hot, and definitely not in this photo. Her personality is irritating to me, but I realize that to a large group of guys, she is just what turns them on. With that said, good for her. But whoever chose this as the cover photo needs to be fired.

  • Her stomach is incredible!

But I don’t know who she is and really did think she was an amputee … not that there’s anything wrong with that.

  • the irony a woman will do a spread for some huge well known magazine in their undies and then get all angry when people judge them.
she is putting herself out there in a pretty personal way…people can think what they want.

  • “It’s true. Most of the guys reading a woman who hosts a show about video games and viral video’s blog probably do need a good fuck.”

…So do the world a favor and fuck a geek today!

  • I was reading another blog earlier today that she’s a sizequeen, that she prefers well-endowed men. Anybody else hear that?
