I work at a Tanning Salon on Long Island in one of the richer towns here and she looks like every other Mom that walks in to tan. I guess this goes to show that you can take the Long Island mom out of Long Island but you can’t take the Long Island out of her.
The tanning salon I work at has a picture of lindsay up on the wall, by the way, with her autograph on it and it says “Mystic tan is the best!” I don’t know why’d they put that up, I guess it could serve as a warning to how orange you’ll look after using the Mystic.
Scuffling around shabbily dressed in dreay rags and spewing crazy stories and claims, avoiding being arrested, living hard like a worn out alley cat with no morals to survive and selling knock off cheapo crap to make money, mooching and begging from whom ever she can to get freebies and lend her infamous name and fame with dubious skills and little talent left in her.. while managing to get any publicity and pay her bills in Hollywood is genius., but then we’d have to include Parasite in that sorry/sad estimation.
If by “genius” she means constantly jamming her fingers in her mouth, looking disheveled, confused and strung out then yes, Linds is a fucking genius the likes of Einstein!

I don’t make a habit of arguing with the bloggers on this site. I do, however, want to make a quick point. Substance abuse (also referred to as addiction) is not an indicator of intelligence. Someone who has been to rehab 2-3 times is quite likely suffering from a substance abuse problem; a codable mental illness. Maybe I am reading too much into this post, but I think that it is important that people realize that someone’s intelligence is generally separate from their medical diagnosis. Maybe Lindsay is stupid and has a substance abuse problem, but having a substance abuse problem does not mean that someone is stupid.
True. But she has royally damaged her career, her health and the respect that people have for her, which doesn’t add up to being too smart. Of course her mother speaks well of her formerly cute, talented, cash-cow kid because she probably helped support her family through her earnings. And the mother is living through her success.
Maybe it’s her mother who isn’t smart. After all, she seems to be standing by and watching her child destroy herself and also drags her other underaged daughter into clubs, promoting the same self-destructive lifestyle that is damaging Lindsay.
