The infamous episode — which Fox eventually scrapped because they didn’t want to lose episodes — got its first real exposure last night, when the cast did a live table read for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The episode will appear on the Family Guy DVD release, but until then you can check out some of the highlights in the clips below. The setup? Lois agrees to be a surrogate for two parents who then die in a car crash.

As usual hilarious, this one of the funniest shows on TV. I can’t wait to see the crazies come out with the tin foil hat comments about satire. Humorless toads.

I love Family Guy and I’m totally going to have to see this episode.

And damn, I always forget how sexy Seth McFarlane is untill I see him and not just hear his voice.

Also, just wanted to add; when you goggle image search peter, the first suggestion on there is peter griffin. Just thought that was interesting, as he’s an animated character.

I wonder if airing this episode on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim is an option, and if it isn’t, then why? They did that a few years ago with the banned “When You Wish Upon A Weinstein” episode…

  7. nomen cognomen says:

I love how Brian (the dog) is Seth’s actual voice.

  8. Spray on Abs says:

Damn, Seth is one sexy guy. His eyes smile when he smiles.

  9. MissSmilla says:

I had NO IDEA Seth Mac Farlane was hot. That’s what I get for having stereotypes about comic strip writers. LOVE his voice, and he’s cute AND funny. We need more gossip and photos on this man.
