I think Goldie looks great. If you haven’t been this route yet, do not judge! It’s a hidepus kind of hell to age in a society that worships only one standard of beauty: The Younger the Better. Balony. We, women especially, have no standard to aspire to in this country. Our heroes are aging as we do and haven’t much more of a clue on how to do that “gracefully” than we do. I know don’t, and I’m almost 61. The media shows us images of superficial physical beauty and we are no longer look like that. Advertising only wants older women to sell adult diapers, denture paste, bathtubs for the handicapped and medicine for osteoporosis. We need more images of genuinely beautiful women who radiate accomplishment and power, intelligence and integrity. Try and find that kind of glow in anyone under “a certain age”.
