How Britney Got Her Body Back

Britney’s on the cover of OK magazine this week, in a hot white bikini and running her mouth about her diet and exercise routine. And, yeah, there’s obviously a lot of exercise going on here, but my guess is there’s also a fair amount of liposuction involved. Anyway. In case you’re the kind of person who still feels it’s appropriate to take health tips from Britney Fucking Spears, here’s the diet story Britney’s sticking to:

“My diet has a lot to do with my getting into shape. I have no sugar. I don’t eat fruit or even fruit juice because of the sugar. I eat chicken and salmon and rice. I eat avocados. I’ll have egg whites for breakfast and sometimes turkey burgers for lunch. I try to do just 1,200 calories a day. It may sound like it’s not much, but it’s actually a lot of food if you eat the right things.”

Britney didn’t say any of that. And if she’s not eating fruit or fruit juice, it’s because she doesn’t like it. I mean, she’s obviously doing a lot better than she was a year ago, but there’s a freakin’ team of people — many of them surgeons — involved in this overhaul. Believe it.

  • don’t say things you can’t back up with proof. and no, i will not “believe it”.. she looks fantastic, so either way, whatever she’s doing works!

  • Get over it, you don’t know everything. She looks great, give her a break. You wish you looked as good as she does.

  • 1200 calories definitely doesn’t sound like enough. That’s a great way to keep your metabolism low, and if you ever eat more than that without increasing your activity level you’ll gain weight again.

    Be smart. Eat enough calories of healthy foods, and exercise enough to burn it off. If you burn more calories, your body will get used to burning them and your metabolism will be higher.

  • At least she’s off the crack and on track. But it’s all smoke and mirrors anyway…the only thing she needs to steer clear of is her poor confused kids!

  • I find it hard to believe that someone who practically lived off of starbucks has stopped eating fruit because of the natural sugar it has. She has probably just added some adderall and hydroxicut to her daily regimine of sitting on the couch and eating m&ms. I mean…if you were eating a ton of protein and working out all the time wouldn’t you have a little bit of muscle tone?

  • i agreeee with ladee. she was just dedicated to hitting the gym, from all those paparazzi pictures i saw a while ago. there definitely were no surgeons involved

  • so she’s not eating fruit because of the sugar, but she’s eating avcacados, which are incredibly fatty? mmmmkay.

    And, these people lose weight because they exercise like 5 hours a day, everyday of their lives. If I had 5 hours, even 3 a day dedicated to that, and teams of people feeding me yummy healthy stuff, I would be thin too..
