I have recently had occasion to be at home during the day and turned on the tv.
My question is: What concern is it of anyone other than Ellen and Portia if they get married or don’t? Do gays and lesbians go up to people on the street and ask about their sex life? So why is the sex life of Ellen and Portia the business of the entire world?
I have been in a lesbian relationship for over 40 years. Guess what? We have had some bad times and a lot of good times as well and some times that just were. No one helped us buy houses, send kids to school, pay for vacations or cars or put food on the table. If they can’t help they should keep quiet because it is none of their business.
So, if they get married then for them as with anyone else I wish them well, just as I would the next door neighbor or a friend of the kids who is getting married.
