Ohhhhhhh Shit. A&E Suspends Production on Dog’s Show

Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapmans Gets Show Pulled by A&E After Racist Comments

After hearing about his little racist rant, A&E, the network that airs his TV show, released the following statement:

“We take this matter very seriously. Pending an investigation, we have suspended production on the series. When the inquiry is concluded we will take appropriate action.”

They probably don’t want to take the same heat NBC took after those Don Imus comments.

Way to go, A&E!

  • Though the statement made may very well have been inappropriate and derogatory, it still does not hide the fact that the phone conversation was intended to be private and personal. Dog should have the right to say whatever he wants to to his son as others do the same with their family members and friends. There is no way possible that legal action can or should be taken, no mater what was said in his private life. Ask those those that are punishing him if they have ever said anything privately to someone that could have offended someone else. Dog deserves to have a private life too, and tell the cameraman who revealed this statement to get one.

  • WTF… can’t people say what they want in a private conversation?? Thanks Rev. AL you are the problem…

  • When it comes to hateful words, the old “sticks and stones” principal should be used.

As for what Dog actually said, he clearly stated that he didn’t mean it as hate, but that America would think he did.

That alone should prove he had no hateful intent.
