  • Aaw, I’m happy Burn After Reading got the Best Picture: Comedy or Musical nomination. I loved that flick.

  • yeah, laurel i think at dlisted michael k. mentioned the same thing about tom cruise…i havent seen it yet & i cant wait to see what all the fuss was about…i cant believe angelina keeps getting nominated for stuff, she is such a horrible actress…i havent seen the changeling, but the previews made me cringe everytime she wailed. dreadful.

  • Best Pic Musical or Comedy:
    · Mamma Mia
    · Vicky Cristina Barcelona

YEAH RIGHT. both of these were very disappointing. hardly best pic material!

  • Let’s go Kate Winslet! It’s about time she win an Oscar. This is her 6th nomination, time to reward the woman. She’s a fabulous actress and a down-to-earth individual!

  • i loooooove californication.
and david duchovny should totally win just cus of sexhab.
i mean cmon, talk about life imitating art (or was it the other way around here?)

  • Let’s give Mariska one of those Globe thingies so SVU can get back to not being ridiculous. It’s seriously been stupid for like six years now.

I am really excited to see Doubt.

  • Heath Ledger totally deserves to win the supporting actor category. His role as the Joker in The Dark Knight was nothing short of supurb! Though I’m sad to see that The Dark Knight didn’t get a nomination for best picture…

  • Tom Cruise’s performance in Tropic Thunder was amazing. He actually acted instead of relying on the same two facial expressions like every other movie he’s done. I’d give him the “most improved” globe. RDJ should totally take the prize. It’ll probably go to Heath, if only to avoid riots (Not saying he didn’t earn it). James Franco did really well; I’m surprised but happy to see him on the list. I hope Anna Paquin gets an award. Her portrayal of Sookie is spot on and heartfelt. If they’d cut out the scenes involving Jason True Blood might deserve more recognition.

  • I’m sorry the film “The Visitor” didn’t make it onto the best picture list. I liked it so much I saw it twice.
