When a person takes their first shot at directing a film, you generally don’t even see the movie make it to theaters. Let alone make one with high-wattage comedy stars. But Aziz Ansari seems to have what comedians want. A good script!
According to Deadline, Seth Rogan is just the latest cast member to join Aziz’s directorial debut Being Mortal. Seth joins legendary comedian Bill Murray who is already on board.
The film is based on Atul Gawande’s non-fiction book, “Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End,” which admittedly doesn’t sound like a laugh riot. But I’m prepare to trust the process and see where this goes.
