Today's Evil Beet Gossip

Vanity Fair’s Hollywood issue is most diverse ever

In the past, the coveted Vanity Fair Hollywood issue has been a mostly bleached white affair.  Rarely focusing on the work of anyone blessed with some pigmentation.   But that’s clearly not a thing for this years 27th edition,  as its the most colorful (like actually full of color) cover to ever hit the stands.

Charlize Theron is the veteran model for the issue, Michael B Jordon riding high and my fav, Awkwafina lookin adorbs down in front.

Artists Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari directed 10 photo shoots across four continents. They used ‘modern techniques’ that allowed VF to minimize on-set personnel and maximize COVID-19 protocol.

Also included on the cover are Sacha Baron Cohen (The Trial of the Chicago 7, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live, Big Mouth), Michaela Coel, (I May Destroy You), Spike Lee (Da 5 Bloods, David Byrne’s American Utopia), LaKeith Stanfield (Judas and the Black Messiah) and Dan Levy (Schitt’s Creek).
