The estate of the band sued fashion designer Marc Jacobs for using a very similar smiley face logo on his “bootleg redux grunge” collection, alleging it bears a striking resemblance to their intellectual property and the logo being an integral part of their visual identity
The disputed logo is featured in socks, sweatshirts and tees.
