The Kardashian’s are so ubiquitous and there are so many of them one could start an entire news channel about them and solely them and have enough content to run smoothly.
Personally I love the Kardashian’s. No, they are not the perfect role models, but what an empire! They are American Royalty. I say good for them. I also say we stop criticizing them as much. These people are a product of their environment and industry. Have you ever been to Hollywood? Place is a sexually charged, obsessed with youth, high on Vitamin D or whatever Doctor prescribed-stolen from Ma’s pill cabinet cesspool – the only reason we glamorize it is because we are too blinded by the glitters. The money. The marble. The beautiful people (most of them surgically enhanced). The Kardashian’s are an embodiment of that industry. They eat, sleep and shit the superficial, materialistic bs that is the Hollywood machine. Like come on.
This is a powerful matriarchal clan – I say props to Kris Jenner.
These woman negotiated their sexuality and bodies to manipulate the system. A system that has been in place since forever – called patriarchy. There are many ways that women ‘make it’ in this world. Some of us have talents, some of us use our bodies. Its just the way it goes. You want to change this, you change the patriarchal system we exist in.
When Miley Cyrus super sexualized herself a lot of people criticized her. I believe Gloria Steinem said it best : I wish we didn’t have to be nude to be noticed … But given the game as it exists, women make decisions. For instance, the Miss America contest is in all of its states … the single greatest source of scholarship money for women in the United States. If a contest based only on appearance was the single greatest source of scholarship money for men, we would be saying, “This is why China wins.” You know? It’s ridiculous. But that’s the way the culture is. I think that we need to change the culture, not blame the people that are playing the only game that exists.” — and I think the Kardashian’s deserve the same logic applied.
Anyway, the Kardashian’s are everywhere. Here is the klan’s weekly update:
+ Rob Kardashian got engaged to Blac Chyna. Apparently no one in the family supports this decision, I mean they’ve only been dating for two months. Then there is that super complicated matter that Kylie Jenner is dating Blac Chyna’s ex-baby Daddy Tyga.
I guess their reality tv show got one of the writers from Maury for the upcoming season 12. Kylie’s literally going to be the auntie-step girlfriend. Rumour has it, Rob hates his family, so this is a major fuck you to them it would seem. Or maybe these master manipulators have been plotting all a long. I can never tell with them. Either way – drama-rama – holidays are gonna be liiiiittttt with ferocity and side eyes. Then when Khloe leaves the room, Blac is going to literally like leap on Kylie. The Kat fight of the Khristmas season episode 14 season 12 is going to erupt. Kim will be all kinds of shocked. Kris will try to separate them. Kourt will have some witty/bitchy komment. Someone will knock down a kandle and then we will have to tune into part 2 next Sunday…anyway Rob’s an idiot for getting engaged this quickly and to a woman who I assume has ulterior motives.
They all went skiing in Vail, Colorado and no one was killed – well all except Rob’s feelings cause he wasn’t invited. And Kris wore this fabulous purple fur jacket that I am literally so jealous over.
Kylie was in paper magazine looking like a blow-up sex doll cartoon human — which isn’t that different from her everyday look. She also launched her lip colour “Kourt K” which sold out in 2 seconds.
-Khloe had her Kocktails show kancelled…
-Kendall went braless and showed off her nipple piercing
-Kris either had a meltdown over losing control over her son or evil cackled about all the attention and potential plot lines this Rob-Blac Chyna engagement will garner.
-Kim took another nude selfie
+ Kourtney is my favourite but often forgotten klan member. This week it seems her and Selena are fighting over Jbiebs . If true, someone should inform them in Aisle 3 of the drug store you can find plenty of douches.
She also played nice with Scott Dickhead, her ex, while skiing but that was probably only for the kids and the kamera.
