I’m not quite sure why Zayn Malik thinks we’re just all supposed to get on board with his post-1D pseudo-hard man thing he’s trying to pull off, but I’m really not feeling it. The whole smooth R&B crooner nonsense is not sexy (though it is catchy — even I have to admit that, as much as I hate myself for it) and the fact that he’s decided to take this nonsense one step further by getting a face tattoo that is ugly as hell — plus, har har, so ironic that it says “mom”!!! SO EDGY!!
Funny enough, tattoo artist Kevin Paul who has done art on some of the other One Direction guys (Harryyyyy!) has come out and basically said that Zayn’s going to end up regretting it. Here’s what he had to say to The Mirror:
‘The placement is really bad, considering he doesn’t have any other tattoos on his head.’
‘I think he’ll end up regretting it and it would be hard to cover up without making the new design a lot bigger and darker.’
Kevin went on to suggest Zayn should have the inking lasered off, which he estimated would cost £600.
‘Out of everyone in One Direction, Zayn had the best tattoos, but this is not one of them’, the ink master concluded.
Here’s my real question: Is Zayn Malik having a mental breakdown? He certainly seems like it. It’s fine and well that you’re done with the boy band life and you want to go do your own thing musically, but he just seems to be losing his mind.
