I know, this is such great news, isn’t it?! I think it’s truly amazing what the human body can do for true love, but it’s true: Jared Padalecki from Supernatural is expecting his first child. Jensen Ackles from Supernatural is the father. The child was conceived on the set of Supernatural, and, as such, it will be born with extraordinary powers. There’s no word on whether or not some demon with yellow eyes will sneak into the nursery when the baby is six months old in order to feed him some demon blood.
Oh, sorry, what? I apologize, I thought I was brainstorming some fan fiction, not making a post for Evil Beet! Is this embarrasing or what?!
Ok, for real, Jared Padalecki’s wife, Genevieve Cortese (yeah, the girl who played the second Ruby [I hated the second Ruby, didn't you?]), is pregnant with the couple’s first child. We learned this from a number of adorable messages from Jared via Twitter:
Hey guys- I’ve been hearing a lotta rumors and getting a lotta questions so I’d like to go ahead and say that OF COURSE I’m not pregnant!
Ooohh!! Jeez well now I feel silly. Sorry, i simply fundamentally misunderstood the inquiries. To clarify, “I” am not pregnant, and “Genevie
Stupid character limit! Sorry-I was about to tell yall something and it cut me off! Wont happen again. Now what was it y’all were wondering?
OK yall I’d rather you officially hear it from me.. So, yes. Genevieve is pregnant. We’ll be welcoming a new member to our family in 2012 :)
Oh, them Supernatural boys. Will they ever not be amazing?

Before you get too excited, let me just tell you that this isn’t a legit crossover. It’s not like Sam and Dean hear about some hardcore vampire action going down in this tiny town in California, then set up shop once they realize how much evil hangs around the Hellmouth, and then they meet Buffy and friends and spend the rest of forever hunting with the Scoobies. It’s also not like I’ve thought about it or anything.
No, it’s a lot smaller than that (and of course I’ve thought about it). What happens is Charisma Carpenter, the lady who played Cordelia, and James Marsters, the man who played Spike, are playing a married couple in an upcoming episode of Supernatural. The episode will be the fifth to air of the new season, and the plot is described as “Bewitched gone wrong.”
I can’t wait, I absolutely cannot. Can we get to nerding out over these two shows right away please?

Jensen Ackles (Dean from Supernatural) and Danneel Harris (some chick from One Tree Hill) got married last night in Dallas. The news was announced just a few hours before the wedding, probably to prevent a large number of crying teenagers from showing up and making a scene.
Do you guys watch Supernatural? If so, high five, and if not, get on that. I love it so much, not only for the hot brothers, but also for the beautiful angel, the hilarious father figure, and the shenanigans that take place. I stopped watching it sometime this season though, right after the episode titled “Abandon All Hope” because that’s precisely what I did. Supernatural doesn’t even care, it will rip your heart out of your chest and shoot it with a sawed-off shotgun, and I adore it.
Thanks for getting married yesterday and giving me an excuse to mention your show, Jensen Ackles. I really appreciate it!

This is a clip of Paris Hilton’s guest appearance on Supernatural Thursday night. I didn’t watch the show, but I did hear that she is playing “a demon who feeds on the disorienting power of celebrity.” So, ya know, she’s playing herself, and yet somehow the performance is stilted and awkward anyway.
