2Reba McEntire Is Pretty Pumped to Be Kelly Clarkson’s Mother-In-Law

Kelly Clarkson is engaged, as you probably know, but did you know that her fiancé is Reba McEntire’s stepson? Whaaaat? It doesn’t get more excellently country than that, folks. Reba is absolutely thrilled about the upcoming ceremony, and discussed her excitement about welcoming Kelly to the family during an appearance on Katie with Katie Couric.

“[I'm] thrilled to death, thrilled to death. To have my buddy as my daughter-in-law, I mean, who could ask for more?”

McEntire went on to describe Clarkson as “a big-hearted, very good person”, adding: “[She's] very talented.”

That’s kind of sweet, don’t you think? Especially considering that the women have been collaborators and friends for years. Besides, who wouldn’t want ‘Fancy’ herself as their mother-in-law?
