Do you guys watch Scandal? It’s one of those shows I’ve always meant to watch because everyone says it’s so good and people are always shipping Olivia/Whoever That Guy is on my Tumblr dashboard, but beyond that, I really have no clue what it’s about. Something political? There’s just no time! There’s never enough time for anything, ever!
“What’s important to me is that the show represents diversity on so many levels,” Kerry said, when asked how she feels about possibly nabbing the Emmy. “When you look at the cast on our show, you see diversity with regard to ethnicity, with regard to gender, sexual orientation, with regard to age, with regard to race – and that, to me, is what’s most important.
“That a show that represents the full spectrum of humanity, or that attempts to get close to representing the full spectrum of humanity, that that show could be so celebrated? That’s what I’m most proud of,” she continued.
So… should I watch Scandal first or Breaking Bad? Because no, I haven’t seen either. I’m deprived.

…Kerry Washington was named The World’s Best Dressed Woman, according to People magazine. I always feel that Ms. Washington misses more than she hits, but when she hits, it’s good. She has this perfect ladylike style, with her gloves and circle skirts. People agrees, saying (via Starpulse),
There has been a trend this year in lady-like fashion, and I think she is almost single-handedly responsible for it.
I don’t wear a lot of pants. When I go somewhere I want to know I’m going to be comfortable and I’m dressed for the event.
The internet’s most dangerous celeb, Lily Collins, also made the list.
I ain’t mad with the Kerry Washington pick, but I would have chosen January Jones. Who do you think is the world’s best dressed woman?

Anne Hathaway actually blew me away with her punk transformation for the Costume Institute Gala for the “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum (or Met Gala for short). Doesn’t she look great as a blonde? Every year celebs dress to the hilt for the event for whatever the theme is. This year, it’s punk. So keep that in mind when looking at these photos — these looks are supposed to be crazy and over the top.
BEST: Anne Hathaway, January Jones, Sienna Miller
WORST: Almost everyone else, but especially Kerry Washington, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kim Kardashian and honestly there were so many more I couldn’t even deal with.
PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY: Miley Cyrus and Anne Hathaway
Check it out!

Michelle Obama, First Lady of the United States of America, is alledgedly jealous of actress and Obama appointed board member of the Creative Coaltion League and Artists Committee for Americans for the Arts, Kerry Washington. I totally forgot that Kerry Washington was involved in government programs but that still gives no plausibility to this story. And here is the alledged story: Ms. Washington is lobbying (see what I did there?) to play Michelle Obama in a film, which pisses off Michelle O, because she thinks that Washington is trying to seduce her husband, President Barack Obama. Here’s my favorite quote from a source,
Michelle was furious when she found out Kerry had been invited to the inauguration, and ripped into Barack, telling him, ‘Stay away from that woman!’ Her jealous rage put a damper on the inauguration festivities, but at least the meltdown took place behind closed doors.
Oh and this is great, they’re also saying that Michelle Obama got her haircut, complete with bangs, in order to get Barack’s attention. Because of course a woman can’t change her appearance just for herself, it has to be for a man.
In May of 2012, a biography of The Obamas titled, The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House, claimed that in 2000 Michelle wanted to divorce President Obama. Can we somehow blame Kerry Washington on that, too? Maybe if we try really, really hard.
I feel like someone’s trying to make an updated Jackie Kennedy Vs. Marilyn Monroe feud but it’s not going to happen. Stop trying to make it happen.
