How did I not know that Kelly Rowland is a judge on the British version of The X Factor? This information totally slipped under my radar. I’m sorry, you guys. I’m a failure. (I did know about her one-woman Destiny’s Child medley, though! She performed it last week. She was not wearing pants.)
Anyway, the Daily Mail has finally published its best-researched, most hard-hitting pictorial to date: on television, from week to week, Kelly Rowland’s “mole” has been, uh, relocating itself. It also apparently changes shape and size. Yikes! She should get that checked out! Ha, ha.
I can definitely see how this “wandering beauty mark” might be distracting to viewers. Of course, I can also see using Rowland’s mole as the basis for a drinking game—but then, that’s why I don’t teach high school anymore.

According to public records, Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child owes a lot of money to the IRS. On November 8th the IRS filed a $98,634 lien against the singer with the State of New York.
I hate when I hear stories of celebrities with serious money not paying their taxes. Between her years with Destiny’s Child and her solo work, Kelly should have more than enough money to pay her taxes and hire an accountant to make sure that it’s done right. Plus, I’m pretty sure the IRS doesn’t come after you for one year of not paying your taxes. There’s too many citizens for that. Does this mean that Kelly’s been blowing off the government for years? Yikes… Maybe she shouldn’t have fired Matthew Knowles…

Kelly Rowland, formerly of Destiny’s Child, just did an interview with BBC radio about her breast implants that is hilarious. According to Kelly, her surgery was an act of bravery that took ten years for her to go through with. Because she’s waited so long for the enhancement, she was, in a way, fulfilling some sort of dream.
Kelly said:
“When I initially thought about that, I was 17 years old. That’s a ridiculous age to make a decision to do something different to your body. For me, it was waiting. That’s the message I actually had to say. When people found out about it, one person asked me and I just couldn’t lie. I didn’t feel the reason to lie. I’m really proud of myself that I waited. That’s 10 years I waited. That’s 10 years I was like, ‘I hate this top. It does not fit. I hate this top.”
Uh, OK. Well, I’m glad you feel better about yourself?

Yep. It’s that time of the year yet again. The stars didn’t come out for the first day like we’d hope, but lots and lots of C-list types made it out to the tents. Here’s a question for you guys: Is something about the clothes in all of these photos very “1992″ to you? I feel like that’s where we’re at, fashion wise. 1992. The colors, the cuts of the jackets. Half of these women look like they’re wearing updated versions of costumes from Lifetime Original movies.

Kelly Rowland signs copies of the new ‘Sims 2: Castaway’ game in London on Friday.
Clearly, Castaway is a fitting description of Rowland’s career these days.

Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland talks in the upcoming issue of Essence about a time when she didn’t feel comfortable in her skin. “It’s said that brown-skinned girls don’t sell magazines and that’s so sad,” she tells the magazine. “I remember wishing I was more fair-skinned, but Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mom, would say, ‘Don’t you know how beautiful you are?’ She made me come into my brown beauty. I didn’t get it, but now I do. I am chocolate and beautiful and loving it.”
Meanwhile, her former bandmate Beyonce is recovering from a tumble she took at a show earlier in the week. During her sold out Orlando show, Beyonce fell down some stairs, landing on her face. “If you taped that, please don’t put it on YouTube,” said the singer after finishing the show. But within hours the clip was on YouTube. Unfortunately, most of those videos appear to have been pulled for copyright violations by now, otherwise I’d put it up. If anyone has a copy saved to a hard drive, drop me a line and I’ll upload it here.
