Paris Jackson is seeking treatment to improve her “emotional health,” People magazine is reporting.

“After a busy year of work engagements that took her all over the globe, Paris decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritize her physical and emotional health,” a source close to the 20-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson tells People.

“She checked herself into a treatment facility to aid in her wellness plan and is looking forward to coming out of this revitalized and ready to tackle the exciting new projects that await her,” the source added.

Through the years, Paris has been open about her battle with depression and anxiety.

In 2013, Paris was hospitalized after attempting suicide. Paris later admitted she attempted suicide a number of times during an interview with Rolling Stone in 2017.

Travis Scott spoke with Kaepernick before confirming Super Bowl gig

News that Travis Scott would be performing with Maroon 5 at the Super Bowl first leaked out in December, but three weeks passed before the performance was officially announced. That announcement only came after Scott announced that he and the NFL would donate $500,000 to the nonprofit social justice organization Dream Corps. The move was clearly intended to blunt the criticism Maroon 5 and particularly Scott had received for performing at the game, due largely to the league’s treatment of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who has essentially been banished from professional football for taking a knee during the pre-game performances of the national anthem, a move many feel is based in racism.

Scott and Kaepernick had at least one phone conversation before the rapper confirmed his Super Bowl appearance, sources tell Variety. A source close to Scott said that while the two did not necessarily agree, they emerged from the conversation with mutual respect and understanding, with the rapper taking the stance that everyone makes a statement in their own way and he felt that the money going toward Dream Corps, combined with the platform provided by the Super Bowl, will do some good. The source also said that Scott would not confirm his performance until the donation was locked in.

Most Dangerous Jobs in America

Researchers from 24/7 Wall St. recently conducted a study to determine the 25 occupations with the highest fatality rates. To do so, they reviewed fatal injury rates for 72 occupations from the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries.

They calculated injury rates as the number of fatal occupational injuries per 100,000 full-time equivalent workers. They said a full-time worker is equivalent to 2,000 hours worked by an employee during the calendar year.

After analyzing the results, they determined fishers and related fishing workers, who make about $28,310 annually, had the most dangerous jobs. They counted 41 fatal and 120 nonfatal injuries in 2017, with transportation incidents being the most common fatal accident.

Ok... on with the list...

  1. Fishers and related fishing workers
  2. Logging workers

Ariana Grande got a giant Pokémon tattoo on her arm

Ugh.. the regret will be palpable.

Ariana Grande, who is no stranger to getting inked, just got a giant tattoo of the cute and fluffy Pokémon Eevee on her upper arm.

“I’ve wanted this for so long,” Grande, 25, wrote on Instagram.

When a fan on Twitter asked what games she played on her Nintendo Switch on Sunday, the “Imagine” singer responded, “honestly. yesterday i had a day off and i played pokemon let’s go eevee for fifteen hours. honestly.”

Perhaps Grande identifies with the rabbit-eared character. Eevee, while adorable, is also quite adaptable and is able to evolve into eight different Pokémon.

The body art was done by tattoo artist Kane Navasard who is based in Los Angeles.

“For the best Pokémon trainer in the game, @arianagrande,” he wrote on social media.

Cory Booker dating Rosario Dawson for a month now

Presumptive presidential candidate Sen. Cory Booker and “Rent” star Rosario Dawson have been dating at least since December, we’re told.

We’ve reported in the past couple weeks that the pair have been spotted out on the town — first catching a movie at the Regal Union Square, and then at a performance of Broadway hit “Dear Evan Hansen.”

But now a tipster tells us the couple were also holding hands at a performance of another play, “Apologia,” as far back as last month.
