Very Important World Record Broken

No, don’t worry. Nobody won more than eight Olympic golds during one Olympics. That honor still belongs to Michael Phelps and his size 14 penis.

Rather, students at William & Mary College have broken the record for the most people to dance to the singer’s “Thriller” simultaneously in one place. The 242-person routine was organized by longtime Jackson fan Kevin Dua, who was notified Friday by Guinness World Records of the accomplishment. The previous record was 147 people in an event held last summer at a British secondary school.

Dua, 21, spent the better part of the school year orchestrating the event, which was held April 19. “I’ve been a Michael Jackson fan since I was 5 years old. It was something I grew up around,” Dua said Friday in an interview.

Well. Now I know what I’m doing with my summer. I’m going to need 243 people, a boom box, and a whole lot of beer. Who’s in?

  • I guess he had to do something while he was in college considering there won’t be any jobs when he graduates.

  • No body, I mean NOBODY, does it as good as the Puerto Rican Inmates. They have so much more time to practice and a lot more rhythm than these white students. (no insult intended)

  • when I read this and saw the video, I couldn’t help but think that the prisoner video should win this record. This is NOTHING compared to that!

  • so could you do like any song and get a world record? Like, could I gather up ten people and dance to some obscure ass song to make it in?

  • Hey, you can’t count some of those fat ass women as 10 people. They still only are 1 person even though they eat for 10.

    • yeah, no. I meant the record was won for most people dancing to Thriller. So I am assuming you could get records for doing a similar stunt, and as long as you chose a song that no one had done previously, technically you would have the title.

      • Believe it or not I wasn’t replying to your comment. I didn’t even read yours until I posted. It was just a coincidence I mentioned 10 people.

        Sorry for confusion.
