I was hanging out with a girlfriend the other night, and she was all pissed off and stressed out that her boyfriend had ditched her to hang out with some friends from his flag football team — many of whom are female. He’s a good guy, too, and a good boyfriend, but she was just really annoyed and frustrated with him, and I totally understood. “You know,” I said, “shit like that makes me really happy I’m single. Sometimes I wish I had a boyfriend, but most of the time now I’m just glad I don’t have to deal with the bullshit.”
And Kelly Rutherford is a bright, shining example of THE BULLSHIT right now. The latest on the Gossip Girl star’s Divorce from Hell:
Kelly Rutheford (Lily van der Woodsen) has a big problem. We’ve learned she went to court last week and pleaded with the judge in her divorce case to let her go to NYC with her two-year-old, Hermes. The judge shut Kelly down, telling her he’ll take the issue up a week from today.
Now here’s the problemo. Sources on “Gossip Girl” tell us Kelly is supposed to be in New York to shoot by January 27. If the judge shuts her down next week that’s not going to happen. Producers could deal with a small delay and shoot her out of sequence, but if the delay is longer they could just shoot her — as in her character.
[Estranged husband David] Giersch doesn’t want Hermes to travel to NYC because he claims Kelly works insane hours and gets totally stressed out when she’s shooting.
OMG. Can you imagine dealing with this shit while you’re pregnant? Awful, awful, awful.
I also think it’s interesting that producers seem so ready to just kill off her character. It kind of makes me think she’s an enormous pain in the ass on set — which may be why her divorce is so insane, too.
I love her on the show, I hope everything works out for her!

No offence though, but when I am bitching about my husband, I hate being told that they are so happy they are single so they don’t have to put up with that bullshit. Think it but don’t say it. It’s condescending. My cousin always says that to me but every other day, she’s crying about the assholes she meets and just wants to have a boyfriend.
Beet, have you seen the gossip that says that she is a huge drama queen on set? CDAN likes to pick on her a little so there’s a few interesting articles about it.
If she didn’t want to deal with the drama while she was pregnant, she should have waited until after the baby was born to file for divorce. She married the guy, she’s having a second kid with him, she’s gonna have to deal with it.
She should have made better choices. We all pay for our decisions.

i think her husband is right. actors are on the set all day. if he isnt going to be at work all day the kid should stay with him.
Kelly Rutheford is a person like everybody else. I’m sad that I’m not in a relationship, but I’m also glad that some of these relationship have ended in divorce.
Thank goodness I’m not married. It’s true that children do suffer from bad relationships the most because they don’t know how ugly things get down the road.
One word of caution, KNOCK IT OFF with the insults because you could be on the receiving of one, for this mess could happen to YOU!
