Elton John had a few words to say about the church and gay marriage, mainly that he believes Jesus would be all for same-sex marriages. Here’s what he told Sky News, via Huffington Post:
“These are old and stupid things,” John said of the restrictions that prevent gay priests from marrying and having sex. “If Jesus Christ was alive today, I cannot see him, as the Christian person that he was and the great person that he was, saying this could not happen. He was all about love and compassion… and that’s what the church should be about.”

I agree. But it really bugs me as a Christian when people do not give Jesus the respect He deserves..His name and His pronouns should always be capitalized. Go ahead and mock me, but I think it is wrong. Just remember Jesus = love.
