It’s a little convoluted but stick with me. On Tuesday Jimmy Fallon learned he was trending on Twitter in a less-than-desirable way. He was being presumed dead.
The hashtag #RIPJimmyFallon was trending on twitter in a meme that had people paying respect to the tv host but attaching a photo of a different celebrity.
It’s actually quite amusing:
This seemed to concern Jimmy who then took the matter straight to Elon Musk, the troubled new owner of Twitter.
“Elon, Can you fix this? #RIPJimmyFallon” Jimmy text to the billionaire. “Fix What?” Elon responded.
It doesn’t seem that Jimmy ever got satisfaction from Elon, but the matter has seemed to mostly die out. Jimmy was back to tweeting normally noting ” It’s not family movie night until you remember way too late about that one scene.”
