Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde do first joint interview

It was on the set of ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ back in September 2020 that Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde met and presumably fell in love.  But the Styles fan base hasn’t been especially welcoming to Olivia and that was a topic in the couples first dual interview.

Harry and Olivia sat down with Rollingstone UK to discuss the traps of dating when you have a million fans watching.

The former One Direction star, 28, admits he finds the online cruelty from some fans ‘difficult’.

When asked in the interview about the ‘small, toxic corners of the internet’ that might be treating the people closest to him poorly, he responded: ‘That obviously doesn’t make me feel good.’

He said: ‘It’s obviously a difficult feeling to feel like being close to me means you’re at the ransom of a corner of Twitter or something.

‘I just wanted to sing, I didn’t want to get into it if I was going to hurt people like that.’

For Olivias part she told the magazine as part of her beau’s global cover shoot: ‘What I don’t understand about the cruelty you’re referencing is that that kind of toxic negativity is the antithesis of Harry, and everything he puts out there.

‘I don’t personally believe the hateful energy defines his fan base at all, the majority of them are true champions of kindness.’

Many fans have questioned if the relationship was real and others just make the stupid assumption that Olivia, at 38, is too old for 28 year old Harry. Though no one questions it when men date 20+ years younger than them.
