One of the greatest films to come out of the 1980’s was Beetlejuice. The film about some good ghosts, a bad ghost and the emo teen that lives with them is on every critics best of list.
So why no sequel after all these years? Probably because sequels suck and this pristine film was a stand alone.
But now comes word that the Tim Burton film has had a follow up in the works for ages. And Brad Pitt’s Plan B production company is going to make it happen.
No word on whether the stellar OG cast will reprise roles, but honestly, I want nothing to do with it if they dont.
Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin, Michael Keaton, Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder are all available. I feel confident about that.
