The show that captivated millions with it’s 80’s throw back style and mysterious… everything… is closing out. But wait… there’s more!
Season 4 (part 1) of Stranger Things is set to kick off May 27th with nine new episodes. Then in June Netflix will drop season 4 (part 2) and nine more episodes.
The following season, season 5, will then conclude the ongoing saga of Eleven and her pals, but there is talk of spin offs.
In an open letter to fans, creators the Duffer Brothers also announced that the show will end with Season 5 – but they heavily implied that there will be spinoffs.
“There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of ‘Stranger Things,’ ” they wrote. “New mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes. But first, we hope that you stay with us as we finish this tale of a powerful girl named Eleven and her brave friends, of a broken police chief and a ferocious mom, of a small town called Hawkins and an alternate dimension known only as the Upside Down.”
