Months after Wendy Williams let us all know her health was still a concern and she would not be returning to her popular daytime talk show, we’ve got word a new full time host has been named.
Sherri Shepherd, who has been acting as guest host for a few months now, will take over as a permanent host.
While the deal is not yet set in stone, insiders dished to TMZ that “Shepherd will be announced as the “permanent guest host” very soon.”
BUT! TMZ also says that if Wendy gets better between now and September, there’s still a chance she could regain control of the purple chair.
Wendy herself has not spoken on the subject. We hope she is focusing on her recovery and healing.
