Dr Oz’s daughter Daphne to replace his show

Since Dr Oz is running for Senate he’s forced to leave his daytime talk show.  Not only to dedicate his time to the campaign, but rules state you can’t have an advantage over your competitor via a dedicated platform.  He can’t have the voters attention for an hour a day that other candidates don’t have.

Now we’ve heard it’s Oz’s very own daughter Daphne Oz who will take his place. Only Daphne will have a cooking show.

She’s an accomplished chef and host in her own right, having previously been on The Chew, for which she has an Emmy, and a dozen other cooking shows she’s appeared on.

The show will be called The Good Taste, which began as a segment on The Dr. Oz Show.  Along with Daphne will be Top Chef judge Gail Simmons and Next Food Star winner Jamika Pessoa. The syndicated show will premiere on Jan. 17, after Oz’s last day on Jan. 14.
