Reality TV pervert and religious fraud Josh Duggar was found guilty today of downloading what police called “the worst of the worst” child porn.
Jurors quickly returned guilty verdicts for the ’19 Kids and Counting’ star on Thursday. Charges including possessing child pornography and receipt of child pornography, both punishable by 20 years in jail and a $250,000 fine.
Duggers lawyer tried to claim hackers accessed his computer and put the vile material there, but jurors weren’t buying it.
The defense also accused prosecutors of dredging up Josh Duggar’s teen molestation scandal to sway jurors despite its supposed lack of relevance.
‘To dig up an allegation from 20 years ago where Josh was a child going through puberty. That’s not what this is about,’ Gelfand told the court.
No date yet for sentencing, but I hope it’s a full 20.
