There’s been a number of people who have spoken about against the recent space race among billionaires.
Prince William scolded the billionaires for wasting their money on such things. Shouldn’t they really spend their money staffing 70 bedroom castles and developing special herses with Land Rover?
But George Takei, who played Sulu on Star Trek along side Shatners Captain Kirk, has always had a beef with Shatner. George claims Shatner was a womanizing asshole who treated him and everyone else as if they were beneath him.
Now he’s dissing the old man for his ride to space. “He’s a guinea pig, 90 years old and it’s important to find out what happens,” Takei, 84, added.
“So 90 years old is going to show a great deal more on the wear and tear on the human body, so he’ll be a good specimen to study,” Takei continued. “Although he’s not the fittest specimen of 90 years old, so he’ll be a specimen that’s unfit!” Ouch. Meow.
Believe me, there’s no love loss between the two who have been very vocal about one another over the years. Personally, I’m team George, but in this case he sounds… dare I say a little jealous?
