Jamie Spears speaks out after losing control of Britney

Despite the onslaught of accusations and abuse claims, Jamie Spears still says he was only doing what was best for his daughter in his handling of her estate.

Jamie Spears spoke out today after yesterdays ruling that he be removed as Britney’s conservator.

He released a statement through his attorney Vivian Thoreen expressing disappointment at the results of Wednesday’s hearing, and detailed the “tremendous amount of daily worry and work” he endured over the last 13 years as her conservator.

“Mr. Spears loves his daughter Britney unconditionally. For 13 years, he has tried to do what is in her best interests, whether as a conservator or her father,” the statement read. “This started with agreeing to serve as her conservator when she voluntarily entered into the conservatorship. This included helping her revive her career and re-establish a relationship with her children. For anyone who has tried to help a family member dealing with mental health issues, they can appreciate the tremendous amount of daily worry and work this required.”

I’m very interested to see if she is forced to keep any conservator or if they let her be on her own now.
