The Fugees to Reunite for Anniversary Tour

Ready or Not! Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel are reuniting to tour as the Fugees in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their classic 1996 album “The Score.”

The album includes the mega-hits “Ready or Not” and “Killing Me Softly.”

The group, however, disbanded the following year, once the artists started pursuing other projects — like Hill’s 1998 record “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” — despite releasing one final single together in 2005 before an “official” break-up in 2006.

“The Fugees have a complex but impactful history,” Hill said in a statement via Live Nation Entertainment. “I wasn’t even aware the 25th anniversary had arrived until someone brought it to my attention.”

“As I celebrate 25 years with the Fugees, my first memory was that we vowed, from the gate, we would not just do music — we would be a movement,” Jean said in a statement. “We would be a voice for the unheard, and in these challenging times, I am grateful once again, that God has brought us together.”
