Billie Eilish is no stranger to huge success, but her sophomore album is only out 9 days and it’s already putting some interesting stats up.
“Happier Than Ever” debuted July 30th and instantly went to the top of Billboard charts. The album sold 238,000 equivalent units, including 153,000 in traditional sales.
But the interesting part comes in the vinyl sales. 73,000 copies of vinyl, to be exact. The second highest number of vinyl sales since 1991!
Another 46,000 were CD sales and then a crazy 10,000 copies were sold in freaking cassette sales! !
Earlier this year, Taylor Swift set the record for the biggest week when Evermore sold 102,00 vinyl copies.
