Armie Hammer is having a hard year.
After word leaked of his cannibalistic sexual desires his wife left him and he was forced into hiding in the Grand Cayman Islands with nothing but his family’s billions to keep him warm. Poor guy.
Now comes word he’s entered a treatment facility in Orlando, Florida. The information comes from a “friend” via Vanity Fair, so it’s got legs.
Armie was last seen last month at the airport in Grand Cayman saying goodbye to his estranged wife, Elizabeth, and his kids. Then it’s said he boarded a separate flight taking him to the facility to treat drug, alcohol and sex addiction.
The friend told VF “Everyone looks at Armie thinking that he’s had some sort of privileged life — and that must mean there were no problems in his youth and everything was peachy keen.”
“But that’s not necessarily the way things go. Just because you come from an upbringing where financial resources are plentiful doesn’t mean life is without problems.”
She added the actor “is committed to getting healthy and having custody of his kids. This is a clear sign that he is taking back control [of] his life and knows that this [is] a step towards his overall well being.”
I mean I wish him the best, but I can’t have him back up on the screen. He’s going to have to rely on the billions he has as a heir and make the best of it.
