If you were around in the 80’s there was a thing called “Must See TV” where every Thursday NBC showed their top 4 comedies and people would actually gather together when and watch television… LIVE. Like as it aired! Well “Night Court” was part of that line up, just after Cheers.
Now the show about a court room during the graveyard shift and all the wacky people who come through there is getting remade for NBC again.
The stars of the show will be ‘The Big Bang Theory’s’ Melissa Rauch and the original series’ co-star John Larroquette, reprising his Emmy-winning role.
The show will focus on Judge Abby Stone (Rauch), the daughter of Judge Harry Stone from the original series. And Larroquette will reprise his roll as smarmy Dan Fielding, attorney to the maniacs coming in to late night court.
