Who doesn’t adore the bubble headed hijinx of the animated trio The Power Puff Girls!? They fill our world with love. Now picture that same love in three-dimensional characters. Yea. Cray.
The concept is that we’ll join Blossom, Bubbles and buttercup, now in their 20’s and feeling hostility over having lost their childhood to crimefighting.
Plot wise that’s all we got, but that’s enough to tell us the storyline will remain in the comedy genre, which is all I cared about. I don’t need to see the girls go dark.
Oh and casting! Chloe Bennet will play Blossom, Dove Cameron will play Bubbles and Yana Perrault will play Buttercup.
I’m a grown ass woman, but I’m legit excited about this.
