There was a lot to be grateful in yesterdays day long affair in Washington DC. The stigma of having a tirant for a president is no longer our cross to bear. The opportunities for women, both of color or not, has just had it’s bar raised dramatically. And the hope of saving a nation for a deadly pandemic has gotten the respect and attention it needs to be squashed.

We are going to be okay. From the wreckage there will be renewal, from the wounds will grow compassion and character, from the division will come clarity, from the despair will come wisdom, from the loss will come community.
