Of COURSE you want to live in the dreamy slice of Miami that Dorothy, Blanche and Rose (and Sophia!) called home for 7 seasons. But unfortunately, that’s just not possible. While the 4some made life in their Coconut Grove Miami home seem like heaven on earth, it was, in actuallity, a house in Brentwood, California.
In addition to that, only the exterior of the “real” house is used. The interior was all on a sound stage. That said, who gives a damn! Like the Brady House a few years ago, the GG house is sure to get plenty of interest. Love for the show seems to almost grow over time.
Also, sadly, there is no Lanai. The fancy word the ladies called their back porch. There’s a porch though! So just call it a lanai!
