I am a Charlamagne Tha God worshiper, long time now. I love the whole package, from his rollercoaster relationship with Wendy Williams to his masterful scoldings in Donkey of the Day to his long adorable lashes. But can he handle doing this much show? Radio and TV?
Comedy Central is still hammering out the details, but CTG should be hosting a weekly half-hour with a focus on current events and cultural issues. There’s no firm timetable for when it will premiere, but the goal is to get it in production by November’s election.
CTG has had several shows in the passed. He was on the show Guy Code for a bit and then hosted Charlamagne and Friends and Uncommon Sense. All for MTV.
So we shall see. Ryan Seacrest will tell you, it’s hard to have it all, baby.
