The Bachelor appears to be getting a new spin-off aimed at olds and I’m horrified.
According to a new casting call, producers of the beloved dating shows are on the hunt for ‘seniors looking for love.’
And though series host Chris Harrison was coy, he all but confirmed Bachelor Nation’s latest addition while talking to TMZ on Tuesday, telling the site: ‘Everybody deserves love, right?’
Harrison explained that an over 65 version of The Bachelor is one of the ‘number one things’ people ask him.
Still, he neither confirmed nor denied if the show was indeed happening. ‘We’re thinking about it, we’ll see,’ he said with a smile.
Here’s my issue. Everyone on the Bachelor is deplorable and looking for fame and you could at least say “well, they’re young”. But when you start in with old bitties getting into this… I’m just … I’m just mad is all.
