Douglas and Zeta Jones pick up another mansion

According to real estate bible Dirt.com, the 11,652 square feet Westchester, NY estate that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones just bought was part of a downsizing from their previous 15,000 square ft property nearby.   Sounds rough.

The place is magnificent from the indoor pool to the awning topped patio that would make anyone feel they were vacationing with the Rothschilds.

Long Meadow, as it’s called, spreads over 12 wooded acres that roll down to the Hudson River. Just 25 miles outside Manhattan and built in the early 1930s, the 22-room stone-accented red brick Georgian mansion sits at the head of a long, gated driveway with eight bedrooms and 10 full and two half bathrooms. Listing details disclose the baronial three-story behemoth also has a total of seven fireplaces.
