Just horrible news out of Los Angeles today. Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler was hospitalized Thursday after a possible suicide attempt, according to LAPD.
He suffered non-life threatening injuries. According to TMZ, Adler, 54, stabbed himself in the stomach. What a horrible way to go about it!
“Officers responded to Adler’s Studio City, California home at around 6:30 p.m. PT on a call of a possible suicide attempt,” Officer Mike Lopez told us. “When they arrived, officers determined that no crime had been committed and deemed the incident a medical emergency only.”
Lopez would not comment on whether anyone else was in the home when cops arrived. He said the Los Angeles Fire Department transported Adler to a nearby hospital.
