I LOOOVE Kid Cudi. He puts his money where his mouth is and genuinely tries to change the world around him for the better. Whether it be through speaking open and honestly about his mental health issues or teaming up with Postmates to send $10,000 worth of Popeyes chicken to a nearby homeless shelter.
According to TMZ, while out in Indio, Ca for the ongoing Coachella festival, Cudi bought Popeye’s chicken, biscuits, fries and mashed potatoes for the homeless at the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission. In total, he spent $10,000 on the food.
Cudi has teamed up with Postmates to create Munchies Menu, which is collection of all his favorite food to order while he’s feeling peckish from smoking kush. But that’s another story for another time.
Of course I love the video of the delicious delivery, (see it below, thanks tmz) but I can’t help but think it’s all getting cold sitting out. Still, cold Popeyes chicken beats the regular meal any day. I assume.
