Two months after rumors circulated that they were married, folk singer Neil Young confirmed that actress Daryl Hannah is his wife.
The singer, 72, referred to the actress, 57, as, ‘my wife Daryl’ in a message on his website NeilYoungArchives.com, where he tried to get his fans to vote in the midterm elections.
The post also included a video featuring a live version of the 1970 Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song Ohio.
Young and Hannah had been dating for over four years, but in August, The Mirror reported that they were wed in a private ceremony in Atascadero, California.
That report was mirrored by various social media messages, congratulating the couple on their marriage, including one from actress Rosanna Arquette. ‘You are the whisperer to all the animals,’ Arquette said. ‘Birds and bees follow you and protect you. What a beautiful time of love and magic.
