Donna Karan says Weinstein’s accusers could have been asking for it

Donna Karan really should just keep her mouth shut, when it comes to anything clothes related, outside of her drab career wear.

The designer defended Harvey Weinstein’s actions saying sexually harassed women may be “asking for it” by dressing seductively.

“You look at everything all over the world today and how women are dressing and what they are asking by just presenting themselves the way they do. What are they asking for? Trouble,” she told the British tabloid in a red-carpet interview at the CinéFashion Film Awards in LA.

“To see it here in our own country is very difficult, but I also think how do we display ourselves? How do we present ourselves as women? What are we asking? Are we asking for it by presenting all the sensuality and all the sexuality?”

The DKNY founder, who is friends with Weinstein’s wife, fashion designer Georgina Chapman, described the couple as “wonderful people,” adding: “Harvey has done some amazing things.”

By the Way, Georgina and Harvey’s 10th wedding anniversary is December 13th.  Most high dollar marriages have a great payout after milestones. So I suspect papers to be filed the next day.

  • Donna Karen is a very wealthy person, who made their wealth from those who she is calling quilty of being raped for they are wearing cloths that may be to appealing to the rapist…..the very cloths that she designed. What happened to her idea of creating an independent woman…strong and forthright. Donna Karen is so caught up with “the” power of Hollywood….the media….the left who are out to destroy the very people who save their money to buy a DKNY label….how so achingly sad. How she could praise Harvey Weinstein as a wonderful man is beyond deplorable…Harvey Weinstein who not only demeaned and abused women but also raped women….so lost….she, along with the Hollywood elite that have become rich riding on the backs of “Harvey” must be stopped….please…all of us who have a moral conscience….please speaks out about this….it is so, so important.
