Kid Rock bought this amazing Balinese-inspired compound in 2006 for $11.6 million and just sold it for $9.5 million in a deal finalized off-market. That’s a terrible loss, but remember he bought at the very tip of the the real estate bubble. Still, that’s bad.
But back to the amazing house. It’s GORGEOUS. Which shocks me out of him. Although he was with Pamela Anderson then, so maybe she helped pick it out. She has nice taste.
It’s a whopping 1.5 acre property that looks like paradise. Built in 2002 and recently updated, the 8,300-square-foot house features hand-carved doors and ornate woodwork and ebony wood floors. Skylights and French doors create a light and airy vibe within the home.
Outdoors, lawns and lush landscaping surround the swimming pool and lounge area. An outdoor dining pavilion complete with a built-in barbecue, mounted flat-screen TV and fireplace sits off the main house. A separate guest house overlooks the pool area.
