Guys, you might want to sit down for this, because I have some potentially devastating news. It seems that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom‘s endless love was not meant to be after all, as they’ve decided to call it quits. They’ve been together for over a year and have been reportedly “very happy” in various reports during that time, but that’s no longer the case – Katy and Orlando broke up.
They were only seen together on Sunday night at an Oscars afterparty, so what the hell happened in that short amount of time? Could this just be hearsay? Nah – both of their reps released a joint statement about it, so it’s definitely official:
“Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time.”
LOL, respectful, loving space? Nah, chill – they broke up and probably want nothing to do with each other. Or, Katy’s about to have another comeback and is focusing all her energy on being super woke now, so she doesn’t have time for romance. Shit happens and these two were never going to last forever, but let’s just call a spade a spade here, right?
Also, apparently the fact that they were photographed together on Sunday night doesn’t mean much since our fav “source” said they barely even talked all night other than to take that pic.
“Katy didn’t spend much time with Orlando,” said the source. “They got together for a photo, but that was about it.”
