Phallic furniture, graphic ancient Roman sculptures and hardcore photographs are among the new exhibits on show at London’s Sotheby’s auction house ahead of a sale of sexually-charged art through the ages.

“Erotica: Passion & Desire” opened this past weekend as an exhibit at Sotheby’s. Later this week the items go under hammer and attendees without fear of judgement will raise their paddles over 150 titillating items to explore the varied attitudes to nudity and sex across eras and continents.

Dita Von Teese provides some commentary on the auction preview site in a video discussing her lifelong love of collecting eroctica.  You can also browse the catalogue of items, but be forewarned. There’s hella NSFW among the items.  I mean seriously. Vag and peen everywhere. But totally hit it up when you’re in a safe place.  Two words: Blowjob X-Ray.
