Today's Evil Beet Gossip

Remember that crazy mansion built on spec (without a buyer) back in 2014 that was eventually sold for $70 million to the creator of Minecraft?  He bought it fully loaded. Cars, art, furniture, sheets on the bed.   Just like mega builder Bruce Makowsky likes it.  Well ol’ Bruce is back with a bigger house for 3 times the price.

Ringing in at an all time high price of $250 million dollars, is a 38,000 square foot manse in the tony Bel Air section of LA.   The place is beyond obnoxious, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Minecraft creator Markus Perrson bought this Makowsky home in 2014

Spread over four floors are 12 bedrooms, 21 bathrooms, three kitchens, a 40-seat movie theater, an infinity pool with a swim-up bar and 270-degree hilltop views from downtown to the ocean.

But we ain’t done, sista.  Selling a $250 million home takes more than bricks and land. You gotta sell a lifestyle. So much like the last time he’s loaded it with cars, copters and candy.

$30-million fleet of exotic cars and motorcycles parked in the foyer, including a custom Rolls-Royce, a Bugatti and a vintage Allard. The four-lane bowling alley has shoes in every size, and the candy room is filled with towering cylinders of sweets.

Two wine cellars are stocked with hundreds of bottles of Champagne and wine. There are glass ping-pong and billiards tables that were custom-built, and 130 artworks collected from around the world.   Oh and a helicopter is parked on the roof.
